Toko Ekambi underlines that Villarreal is focused on getting a win at Mestalla
Villarreal’s Cameroonian striker Karl Toko Ekambi appeared in front of the press to analyse the Yellow Submarine’s current situation. The Yellows striker underlined the team’s capability to get stuck in and work, with the team fighting to taste victory once more: “We are working really hard at the moment to try and get better in what is going wrong for us and turn around the current situation.”
The Yellows No.17 underlined that winning at Mestalla would strengthen Villarreal: “It’s a match with a massive rivalry. We need to do everything possible to win the match, leave everything on the pitch to get the three points. Getting a win would really lift our morale. It’s a difficult ground to visit, but we have the necessary quality to get a win.”
