Villarreal Women were playing a solid game, putting up a good fight against the league leaders. The Yellows knew how to suffer in defence, looking to attack with their best weapons.
Montse Quesada had to intervene on several occasions to prevent a 2-0 lead, while the changes introduced by Jordi Ferriols revitalised the team in the second half. Despite this, the scoreboard would not budge.
