The footballers have surprised the little ones in the province of Castellón and the north of Valencia
Villarreal CF completed the traditional Christmas visit to hospitals in the province of Castellón and the north of Valencia on Thursday. The players gave a very special surprise to the children and youngsters admitted to the hospitals during the Christmas period. The players went into their rooms and even gave them small gifts from the Yellow Submarine.
The health centres visited by the Submarine’s players were La Plana Hospital in Vila-real, Vithas Hospital in Castellón, Castellón General Hospital, Vinaròs Hospital, Sagunto Hospital and La Fe Hospital in Valencia.
The visit to the hospitals has become a tradition for Villarreal CF. Thanks to this solidarity activity, part of the Endavant Solidarity CSR programme, the Submarine’s footballers visit the children who remain in hospital over the Christmas period to try to cheer them up and bring a smile to their faces with this special surprise.
