The Yellows increase the capacity of the flight heading to Italy after a great response from fans

The Villarreal CF Travel Agency last week organised a special trip last week so that the Yellows could support Unai Emery’s team at the Juventus Stadium, the venue for the second leg of the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 second leg on Wednesday 16th March (9pm CET).

Due to the success and the great response of the fans to the trip organised by the club, Villarreal CF has decided to double the capacity of the trip to Turin and to extend the deadline to register for the trip until Friday 11th March at 2pm. All with the aim of ensuring that all Yellows fans who dream of attending the match against the Italian team can do so with the help of the club.

The trip will take place on matchday in the early hours of the morning so that the fans can enjoy the Piedmontese city throughout the day before entering the stadium to cheer on Villarreal. The estimated time of arrival at Valencia Airport is around 3am. (exact times will be defined once the trip has been confirmed).

The price is 380 Euros per person, and includes the following:

  • Return chartered flights
  • Match ticket
  • All cost of internal travel in Spain and Italy (leaving Vila-real)
  • Match insurance

How can I sign up to the trip to Turin?

Fans can sign up until Friday 11th March at 2pm.

Match tickets on sale now!

Fans who want to travel to Turin themselves will be able to purchase match tickets at a price of 55 Euros. From Tuesday 1st March, they can be bought in person from the Estadio de la Cerámica Stadium Store.

Requirements to enter Italy

The current legislation in Italy due to the COVID-19 pandemic means that people travelling to the country need to do so with a Greenpass, which can be obtained by one of the following ways:

  • Having received the last dosis of the COVID-19 vaccine in the last six months
  • Presenting a certificate of recovery from COVID-19 in the last six months
  • Negative PCR test (maximum 72 hours before the match)
  • Negative antigen test (maximum 48 hours before the match)

Requirements to enter the Juventus Stadium

  • Show ID.
  • Bring the ticket with a matching name to ID.
  • Compulsory use of FFP2 mask.
  • Show a Super Green Pass from the last six months (for 12 years and above). *If the EU Digital Certificate is valid in Spain (nine months) and is no longer valid in Italy (six months), as well as the certificate, a negative PCR test (72 hours) or antigen test (48 hours) must also be shown. The validity of the certificate in Italy can be seen via the VerificaC19 app, going to the ‘Rafforzata’ section and scanning the QR code.

Authorisation for minors

Minors need to travel with signed permission from both parents or legal guardians in order to be able to travel. Spanish minors will need to have their ID cards, while minors from outside of Spain will need a passport.
