The club has financed its construction thanks to the donation of €2 million to the ‘Alcem-se Esport’ programme of the Fundación Trinidad Alfonso
Villarreal CF will be present this Monday, at 5pm at the opening ceremony of the new football pitch in La Torre, financed by the Yellows, thanks to the donation of two million euros it made to the ‘Alcem-se Esport’ programme of the Fundación Trinidad Alfonso.
This special event will be attended by members of the Villarreal CF squad, as well as institutional representatives and the yellow club’s board of directors.
This new pitch, inaugurated in record time, replaces the old facilities located just 500 metres away in this area to the south of Valencia, which were completely devastated last October due to the flooding.
With this ambitious plan of aid to sports clubs affected by the hurricane, promoted by Juan Roig, the sports entities in the area will be recovering their activity during the first quarter of 2025. The new pitch in La Torre will be followed in the coming weeks by the inauguration of new sports facilities in Beniparrel, Catarroja, Algemesí and Aldaia, all of which are scheduled for next March.
