The Yellows were awarded in the institutional category at the Nurses’ Day gala
Villarreal CF received the Grand Gold Badge award from the Official College of Nurses of Castellón (COECS). The club was awarded for its Medical Services in the institutional category. Héctor Usó, director of the club’s medical services, was in charge of representing the Submarine, as well as collecting the award.
The gala, held on 14th March, took place at the Moll de Costa del Grao. The event brought together the most important personalities from the health sector in the province of Castellón. Those in charge of presiding over the ceremony were Isabel Almodóvar, president of the nurses of Castellón; José Ramón Negre, the territorial director of Health in Castellón; Luciano Ferrer, councillor for Public Health in Castellón de la Plana; and Eugenia Gordo, president of the COECS Retirees Association.
Villarreal CF has an extensive Medical Services department at the club, made up of top professionals. All of them are in charge of preserving and assisting the health of each and every one of the academy players, as well as those of the affiliates and the first team.
