Villarreal CF brings its football camps to every corner of Spain

Over 800 young players trained at Villarreal CF’s seven summer camps in July

More than 800 boys and girls have taken part in the seven Villarreal CF summer camps held throughout July in different parts of Spain. These outstanding numbers reaffirm the club’s status as a national leader in grassroots football development.

The Yellow Submarine’s football camps go beyond the province of Castellón, reaching multiple regions across the country and spreading the club’s methodology among hundreds of young talents each year. The core objectives of the Villarreal CF Camps are to train, identify talent, and promote the club’s values.

Villarreal CF implements these camps in collaboration with partner football clubs, who serve as official hosts and receive both on-site and online training for players and coaches. These clubs also take part in Villarreal CF’s official youth tournaments.

This national network strengthens the club’s youth development model across Spain and promotes multiculturalism, with participants from a wide range of national and international backgrounds. The programme also allows kids from all over the country to enjoy a professional football experience without leaving their home provinces—thanks to a club fully established in LALIGA’s top flight.

A key incentive: the most outstanding players from each Villarreal CF Camp will have the chance to be selected for the upcoming edition of the Yellow Cup Summer 2026.
