A fruitful relation. Villarreal CF and Director11 have reached an agreement to further develop the digitalisation of the academy, helping the development of players and co-ordination between departments.
After a decade of collaboration, both entities have decided to further strengthen their links to give more importance to the Yellows Academy.
Director11 streamlines the management of departments and helps to have more control over and make it easier to follow Yellows Academy youngsters. Villarreal’s youth system can therefore continue growing each year. with huge success, with the aim of developing not only players, but people too.
Villarreal CF is a club that is committed to its academy. The current first team is proof of that, with 11 of them having been formed at the Yellows Academy.
The hard work day by day is continuing to pay off. Last season, Villarreal B reached the play-offs for promotion to Segunda División (the second tier of Spanish football) for the second year in a row, while the U19s (Juvenil A) won their División de Honor league and the Copa del Rey, while the U8s (Benjamín A), U12s (Alevín A), U14s (Infantil A) and the Ladies C team also won their league.
