The Yellows Reserves beat CD Ebro convincingly at the Mini Estadi with two goals by Carlitos López
The Villarreal B team picked up an important win at home against Ebro (2-0), keeping their dream alive by taking them to within two points of the play-off zone. Two brilliant goals by Carlos López gave three points to the Mini Submarine who were far superior to their opponents. Ebro hardly troubled Yellows goalkeeper Cantero, until the final minutes of the match. This is the third consecutive win for Paco López’s side which takes the Mini Submarine to within touching distance of the play-offs.
The Villarreal B team’s next match will be away against Atlético Saguntino (time still to be confirmed).
