Sofian Chakla underlines that the Mini Submarine are confident going into the tough reserves derby against Atlético Levante
Villarreal B defender Sofian Chakla appeared in front of the press this lunchtime to analyse the current goings-on regarding the Mini Submarine, who last weekend got an impressive home win against league leaders CE Sabadell: “We put in a perfect game. We were able to put everything we worked in during the week into the match. It was an important game for the team. We needed that win at home.”
The Spanish-Moroccan footballer underlined that the team is confident and has high aspirations for the second part of the season: “Our aim is to be at the top, that’s the team’s mentality. We want to be in the top four. We’re confident after our holidays. The match against Sabadell is the path to take.”
Furthermore, Chakla underlined that the match against Atlético Levante will be tough: “It will be a difficult game. They’re a team that I like a lot. They have quick and dynamic players up front. Despite that, we are going into the game hoping to win there.” Finally, the Mini Submarine defender highlighted that, to get the victory, Miguel Álvarez’s side must “forget the match against El Prat and be strong away from home once more,” as they have shown throughout the season so far.
