The Yellows Reserves draw against CF Gavà thanks to a second half Carlos Martínez goal
The Villarreal B team picked up a hard fought point on their visit to CF Gavà. The Yellows Reserves got better and better as the game went on and even deserved to make the comeback and take the three points. In the end they took away one, keeping them in the upper end of the table.
The Catalonian side took the lead through their top scorer. Boris struck from point-blank range and Cantero could do nothing to keep it out (1-0, m. 24). The Yellows Reserves reacted well though and equalized in the second half via Carlos Martínez.
The Mini Submarine went all out in the second half and Martínez’s goal was a result of their persistence (1-1, min. 59).
The Yellows had chances in the final minutes of the match, but they could not find a way past Craviotto.
