The club has reached a collaboration agreement with D10 FC
Villarreal Academy, the Villarreal CF international project, continues its expansion in 2026 with the launch of Villarreal Buenos Aires, following an official collaboration agreement with D10 FC.
Through its international Villarreal Academy network, Villarreal CF strengthens its presence in South America, a strategic region within its global development plan. With this new project, the Yellow Submarine adds Buenos Aires to its international map, where it already has established initiatives such as Villarreal Uruguay and its collaboration with the Pelé Academy in Brazil.
Facundo Alfaro, director of D10 FC and the new Villarreal Buenos Aires project, brings extensive experience in youth football. “Training programmes will be developed based on the Villarreal CF sporting model, with a comprehensive approach to player development. As part of the project, events and training activities will be organised in Argentina and Spain, creating opportunities for both players and coaches,” he said.
Brandon Páramo, head of international development at Villarreal CF, added: “We are very pleased to announce this new project, which will provide opportunities for players and coaches under the values and methodology of Villarreal CF, reaffirming our commitment to youth football development at a global level.”
Through Villarreal Academy, the Yellow Submarine continues to expand across all continents. Argentina is the latest country to join the growing list of nations benefiting from Villarreal Academy.
