Marcos Senna will give him a commemorative shirt before the match against Real Oviedo
Villarreal CF has prepared a small tribute for Santi Cazorla before the match against Real Oviedo, which will be played this Friday at 9:30pm CEST at the Estadio de la Cerámica.
Before the start of the match, Marcos Senna, the club’s ambassador and Cazorla’s former team-mate, will personally present Santi Cazorla with a commemorative shirt with his name and the number 334, in reference to the number of matches the Asturian player played with the Yellow Submarine.
The Yellows fans will have the opportunity to give a standing ovation to the emblematic former Yellow. This is something they were unable to do in 2020 when his second spell as a Villarreal CF player ended during the pandemic with no fans in the stands. Now, he returns to the Estadio de la Cerámica as captain and leader of Real Oviedo, a team back in LALIGA 24 years later.
