Sara Monforte’s side picked up three very important points thanks to a goal from Belén
Villarreal Women, after a tough defeat against Athletic Club (1-6), visited their direct rivals Alhama CF ElPozo. With a game plan that worked to perfection, Sara Monforte’s side picked up three vital points thanks to a goal from Belén Martínez.
The Yellow team were very intense from the start in attack. In fact, Llompart threatened in the 15th minute with a powerful free kick, but there was no luck and the ball went straight into the hands of the home keeper. A few moments later, Yeni put the ball into play from a throw-in and Belén took advantage of the opportunity to score a goal with a tremendous right-footed shot.
