The Yellows will play for their ticket to the Champions League on Tuesday and will host Sevilla on Sunday
The Villarreal squad, after playing against Granda on Saturday in their first match of La Liga Santander (1-1), trained on Sunday morning at the Villarreal CF Training Ground (Ciudad Deportiva) to prepare for the Yellows’ next clash, who will play for their ticket to the Champions League this Tuesday against AS Monaco FC, in the Play-off second leg. Fran Escribá’s side will then host Sevilla FC at El Madrigal on Sunday in their second league match of the season.
The schedule for this week is as follows:
Monday 22nd:
- 12pm, Flight departure to Nice and transfer to Monaco.
- 7pm, Training behind closed doors at Monaco’s Louis II stadium.
Tuesday 23rd:
- 8:45pm, Champions League Play-off second leg between AS Monaco FC and Villarreal CF at the Louis II stadium.
Wednesday 24th:
- Day off.
Thursday 25th:
- 10am, Training at the Villarreal CF Training Ground.
Friday 26th:
- 10am, Training at the Villarreal CF Training Ground.
Saturday 27th:
- 10am, Training behind closed doors at the Mini Estadi.
Sunday 28th:
- 11am, Training at the Villarreal CF Training Ground.
- 10:15pm, Match Day 2 of La Liga Santander between Villarreal CF and Sevilla FC at the El Madrigal stadium.
