Arnaut Danjuma has had an impressive start to his Villarreal career
Arnaut Danjuma has fallen on his feet at Villarreal CF. A month and a half after he arrived at the Yellows, the Dutch attacker has already become a firm fan favourite thanks to his goals, dribbles and assists.
The Yellows forward has been one of the sensations of the LaLiga season and has had the best goalscoring start for a Villarreal CF footballer in his first seven games as a Yellow. He has scored five goals, the same as Cédric Bakambu, and one less than Giuseppe Rossi in their first games as a Yellows.
Speaking about his quick adaptation, Danjuma underlines that he feels comfortable at Villarreal and he feels he’s performing well in Yellow: “I feel very good here. I need to give a massive thanks to Unai Emery. The coach is really busy with me and he really helps me to perform with the team. I’ve integrated well with the culture of the team, and my team-mates trust me.”
The Dutch footballer also highlighted that he is keen to triumph for the Submarine: “My stats have been good so far. I’m looking forward to performing more for the team. I’m very hungry, for me this is only the beginning.”
