More than 1,400 participants will enjoy playing football at Villarreal CF’s facilities
The Villarreal Yellow Cup Summer has kicked off. The grassroots football tournament, organised by Villarreal CF, will be held from 29th June to 2nd July at the José Manuel Llaneza Training Ground, the Estadio de la Cerámica, the Pamesa Training Ground and the Pau Torres Municipal Training Ground.
In this impressive tournament, 85 teams from all age groups took part.
With more than 1,400 participants and more than 1,100 accompanying persons accommodated, the tournament will bring together a total of 15,000 attendees from Friday to Sunday in the four sports venues located in the municipality of Vila-real. These impressive figures make the tournament one of the most important events of the summer.
The participating teams are mainly from the Region of Valencia, but there are also teams from other regions such as Catalonia, the Canary Islands, Castilla-La Mancha, Madrid and even international teams from Jordan, Costa Rica, the United States and East Asia.
As well as enjoying the best football throughout the weekend, the participating teams will enjoy a number of exclusive events such as a grand welcome ceremony at the Estadio de la Cerámica and an exclusive cocktail party at the Restaurante Maya in Benicàssim. On Sunday 2nd July there will also be a trophy presentation ceremony for the champions.
