The Yellow tournament brought a spectacular end to a memorable edition with the trophy ceremony
The Villarreal Yellow Cup Easter has come to an end in its thirteenth edition. The prestigious youth football tournament organised by Villarreal CF has been one of the main focal points of Spanish grassroots football over the last four days, delivering entertainment across the 12 venues where the competition took place, concluding today with the finals and the trophy presentations.
The Villarreal Yellow Cup Easter 2026 brought together more than 20,000 people, supporting the 268 teams that competed to leave their mark on a prestigious tournament contested by some of the biggest clubs in Spanish and international football.
As well as being one of the standout grassroots tournaments in the country, it offered visitors a great opportunity to enjoy the tourist attractions of our province. A total of 4,000 players and 600 coaches travelled with their families, resulting in 10,000 overnight stays in hotels across Benicàssim, Oropesa, Castellón, Peñíscola and Vila-real. A large‑scale event that not only attracted visitors from around the world, but also generated an economic impact of 3 million euros in the province of Castellón.
The thrilling finals of the Villarreal Yellow Cup Easter 2026 were played throughout the morning, and from 13:00 the closing ceremony took place, during which Marcos Senna, club legend, Spain international and tournament ambassador, presented the awards to the champions, runners‑up, MVPs and top scorers:
