The Yellows continue their expansion in the United States and open their first academy in the city of Hailey
Villarreal CF, thanks to its international project Villarreal Academy, is expanding its presence in the United States, this time in the state of Idaho, specifically in the city of Hailey. The academy will follow the Villarreal CF methodology and opens its doors this month. What’s more, the academy will be holding tryouts from 2nd to 5th June, with a Villarreal CF coach in attendance to support the academy with player selections, team formations and coach educations sessions.
Villarreal Idaho Academy director Luis Monjaras has a clear mission for the academy and is excited to be working closely with the Yellows: “Partnering with Villarreal CF is a huge advantage for all our players, coaches and families. Our mission is to provide players with fun and enjoyable opportunities to develop their football skills. Through our programs, we seek to develop each player physically, mentally, and emotionally.”
With this new academy in Idaho, the Yellows now have 14 partner academies in North America, giving many players the opportunity to work under the Submarine’s prestigious and established methodology.
