The Submarine won their first two games against Celta (2-1) and Athletic Club (2-0)

The Villarreal CF U12 A team started off on the right foot in the XXVI edition of the PAMESA LaLiga Promises National Tournament. The Submarine, defending champions of the tournament, won their first two matches against Celta (2-1) and Athletic Club (2-0) with all four goals scored by Enrique Herrero. This afternoon the Villarreal U12s will take on Real Sporting (5:30pm CET) and Real Betis (7:30pm CET) with the objective of qualifying for the next round as top of Group A.

Villarreal 2-1 Celta: The sky blues opened the scoring from a corner kick followed by a great strike from the edge of the box. However, a brace by Enrique Herrero gave the Yellows the three points. Enrique scored the equalizer from a brilliantly taken direct free kick, while the decisive 2-1 was a fantastic solo effort which saw him break free from several Celta defenders and fire his shot across goal and into the back of the net.

Villarreal 2-0 Athletic: The Submarine picked up their second win against Athletic Club with a solid performance and another two goals by striker Enrique Herrero. For his first he beat his opponents for speed and made no mistake with his shot and his second was put on a plate for him. Alejandro shot and the Athletic keeper saved, but the rebound fell to the feet of Enrique who passed the ball into the open net.
