The XXVI Pamesa LaLiga Promises National Tournament will kick off this Thursday at 7:30pm at the Ciutat Esportiva PAMESA Cerámica (PAMESA Cerámica Training Ground). All participating teams will be the focus of the celebration which is open to the public and free entry for all that want to come and enjoy the show.
The competition, sponsored by PAMESA, will be take place from 1st to 3rd June at the Ciutat Esportiva PAMESA Cerámica and will bring together U12 teams from the First Division teams in a tournament that is organised by LaLiga and the José Ramón de la Morena Foundation. The games in this final phase can be viewed exclusively on the ‘laSexta’ channel while some of the first games will be televised on ‘GOL’ and ‘MEGA’.
For the fourth consecutive year, Villarreal CF will host the LaLiga Promises.
The elite of national youth football
The competition will be divided into four groups with five teams in each. Drawn into the very competitive Group D with Espanyol, Girona, Leganés and Málaga for this year’s tournament, Villarreal CF U12 will fight to lift the trophy for the third time in this competition (previously won in 2007 and 2016). An achievement that only FC Barcelona can beat, as they have won eight championships.

COMPETITION SYSTEM
The top four teams in each group will qualify for the Round of 16. Thus, only four teams wil get knocked out in the Group Stage.
In the Group Stage, Round of 16, Quarter-finals and 3rd/4th place tie, all matches will last 24 minutes (12 minutes per half + 3 minutes for half time).
In the Semi-finals and Final matches will be 40 minutes (20 minutes per half + 10 minutes for half time).
