The Yellows’ stadium will host the celebration on 14th June free of charge for all Yellows’ fans
The Fan Fest returns to the Estadio de la Cerámica, celebrating its third edition after the resounding success of previous seasons. This popular event, which is free and open to the public, will be held on Saturday 14 June, starting at 5.30pm.
This spectacular celebration, promoted by Villarreal CF in collaboration with the Celtic Submarí fan club, will open its doors at 5.30pm and will feature live music, games, inflatables and a wide variety of food and drink stalls. In addition, as usual, the event will be a charity event, and the funds raised will be donated to ASPANION (Asociación de Padres de Niños con Cáncer de la Comunitat Valenciana – Association of Parents of Children with Cancer of the Valencia Region); a charity with which the Yellows collaborate through Endavant Solidaritat.
In previous editions, the Fan Fest has raised significant amounts of money, such as the €28,432 donated in the first edition and the €23,535 raised in last year’s edition.
Likewise, as in previous editions, the club will open the most exclusive areas of the Estadio de la Cerámica so that fans can get to know the heart of the stadium.
The Cursa Solidària Celtic Submarí, another highlight of the day
The XII Cursa Solidària Celtic Submarí Memorial José Manuel Llaneza (12th Celtic Submarí Charity Race) will once again be one of the main attractions of the day, with the starting point and finish line located at the Estadio de la Cerámica.
There will be two different events:
- Individual walk: The distance of the walk will be 2.5 km. Any person, regardless of age, may participate, although the number of participants will be limited to 1,000. Registration for the event will cost €7 per participant, as it is a non-competitive event. The walk will start at 7pm.
- Race for couples: The distance of the race will be 6km, through a mixed circuit of asphalt and dirt road that will cross Vila-real. The minimum age to participate in the race will be 14 years old (born until 2011), and it will be possible to participate in three modalities: male couple, female couple or mixed couple. In this case, the race will be timed by chip system. The registration fee is €8 per participant, and the race will start at 8pm.
The organisers will give a prize to the first three pairs in each different group, as well as to the oldest participating couple, adding the age of the two components.
There will also be the option of registering for the race as an individual, also for €8, although no prize will be awarded for this option.
Fans who want to take part in the competition can sign up from today until Sunday 1st June at 11:59pm via the following link:
Live music from Silver Fox and Gen Z
In addition to the games and inflatables that will be available for the little ones, live music will be another of the attractions of the day. Villarreal CF will set up a stage to welcome local bands Silver Fox and Gen Z, who will perform from 9:15pm onwards. In addition, throughout the day, there will be bars where attendees can enjoy food and drink, the proceeds of which will go to support ASPANION.
