The tennis player from Castellón fell in the final of the Masters 1000 in Shanghai to Scotsman Andy Murray (7-6, 6-1), after a brilliant tournament, knocking out Novak Djokovic (6-4, 6-4) in the Semi-finals, Wilfried Tsonga (6-3, 6-4) in the Quarter-finals and Viktor Troiki (6-3, 6-3) in the Round of 16. After this recent success, Bautista moves up to 13th in the world rankings.

The cyclist from Vila-real made his debut in the Spanish track cycling Championships in Palma, winning a gold medal, three silvers and a bronze. He is now preparing for the European Championships in Paris.

She won in the first round against Jelena Ostapenko (Latvia) 7-6 and 6-4.

Vicent Sos’s handball girls took down Muchoticket Puchi 33-28 in Ibiza. BM Castellón won relatively comfortably always having a 3 or 4 goal lead throughout, giving them enough of a cushion to take the victory.
