Villarreal CF comes back to Spain after a week in Asia
The submarine is back to Spain after participating in the Asian tour of the LFP World Challenge. During their stay in Hong Kong and Shanghai, the Yellows played a triangular tournament against Hong Kong Rangers and Valencia CF.
The team attended various promotional events as well. After the tournament, the Villarreal players and the staff participated in the different presentations of ‘Spain Experience’, with the aim of promoting Spanish football and the image of Spain in general.
The Yellows visited the Diocesan Boys School in Hong Kong, the Marcet Foundation in Shanghai and attended the women’s water polo match between the Spanish and Chinese team. Moreover, the expedition had some time to enjoy some of the most emblematic places in Hong Kong, such as Victoria’s Peak, and visited the city of Changsha, where the players participated in the opening ceremony of a new Xtep store, the official technical sponsor of the club.
