    The German defender signs for another season with the Submarine

    Villarreal CF and Svenja Paulsen have reached an agreement for the German player to continue defending the Villarreal Women shirt for the 2025/2026 season. This campaign, Svenja has split her time between the B team and the first team.

    Youth and talent to keep growing

    Svenja Malena Paulsen (Kiel, Germany, 12/03/03) has played both as a centre-back and as a defensive midfielder. Before joining Villarreal Women, she competed in the German top flight with USV Jena and Carl Zeiss Jena.

    With her renewal, Villarreal CF aims to continue developing young talent, adding quality and future to the squad.
