Five Villarreal CF players have been called up by their country
Madiba Minite, Gael Palomar, Leo Rico, Aarón Ruiz and Pablo López, cadete players from Villarreal CF, have been selected by Spain U15 head coach Hernán Pérez for the national team training camp in Alfaz del Pi (Alicante), which will take place from 25th to 28th August.
Three of the five players called up have already featured in the previous squad, with goalkeeper Leo Rico and recent signing Madiba Minite—who arrived at the Yellows this summer from Levante UD—now joining them.
All five belong to the 2011 generation, with Villarreal CF standing out as the Spanish club with the most representatives in the squad. This is yet another recognition of the excellent work and commitment to youth development at the Villarreal CF youth academy.
