The player of the Ladies A team Lara Mata shared her professional experience with the young players
An enriching talk. The player of the Ladies A team of Villarreal CF, Lara Mata, shared yesterday her experience in professional soccer with the participants in the 2nd Edition of the Campus de Alta Competición that is being held in Villarreal, Spain.
The event was held in the Centro de Tecnificación of Vila-real. Lara Mata shared her experience as a player to becoming a professional at the same time as her medical studies. The young skaters were also able to ask questions and share their worries with her. It should be noted that part of the training of this Campus de Alta Competición of the hockey line was held in the Ciudad Deportiva of Villarreal CF.
The Campus is run by the Director Técnico and Seleccionador, Philippe Boudreault, and coordinated by his assistant, Jari Nieminen, as well as the rest of the staff of the Spanish Skating Federation (RFEP). The fundamental principles of the Elite Campus are the improvement of the technical/tactical abilities of the participants, as well as the introduction to the Alto Rendimiento Deportivo.
All of the national teams are present in the Campus with the collaboration of the national coaches and players of the Spanish team.
Lara Mata’s Career Path
Lara Mata Caudevilla (Zaragoza, 02-18-1993) has risen to the Ladies A team of Villarreal CF this season and plays as a central defender. At her 25 years, the young defender has extensive experience in elite soccer. After completing her training stage in the lower categories of Real Zaragoza Femenino, she made the jump to Primera División, the category in which she has competed in during the last seven seasons.
