    Semedo undergoes successful operation

    The Portuguese player was operated on by Doctor Ramón Cugat at the Quirón Salud Hospital in Barcelona

    Ruben Semedo underwent a successful operation to repair the rectus femoris muscle in his right leg. The operation was performed by Doctor Ramón Cugat at the Quirón Salud Hospital in Barcelona. It should also be stated that Villarreal’s Portuguese defender was injured during the match against FC Barcelona at the Estadio de la Cerámica, having to abandon the field of play in the 47th minute.

    Recovery time will depend on the evolution of the defender’s recovery process. The club would like to wish Ruben a speedy recovery.
