The Colombian striker was “very happy” after scoring two goals against Osasuna at the El Sadar
Villarreal CF’s Colombian striker, Santos Borré, was decisive in the Submarine’s victory in Pamplona. The Yellow number 24, who also scored at the Stadio Olimpico against Roma (0-1), did so again yesterday at the El Sadar stadium, this time on two occasions (1-4). The Yellows forward came on in 66th minute and sentenced the league fixture by scoring the last two goals against CA Osasuna, the first in 74th minute and the second in 79th minute. With two goals in the league this season, Santos Borré has four goals in total in a Yellow shirt (two in the LaLiga Santander and two in the UEFA Europa League).
Santos Borré, who was chosen as the Five Star Player for the match against CA Osasuna, said he was happy to contribute what he could to the team: “Today I scored two goals and scored in this league, which I hadn’t done yet. I’m really happy with the match and to take away three very important points from the El Sadar stadium. We picked up a nice win”.
The striker also said, “my luck has changed in front of goal. I always tried before but the ball didn’t go in. It feels great to score, especially to do so at an important time for the team ahead of the end of the season and after lots of hard work and help from my teammates”.
