Samu Chukwueze is the best African player of the season! The Villarreal CF player received, after the end of the match against Atlético de Madrid (2-2), the LaLiga Santander African MVP Award that makes him the best African player of the 2022/23 LaLiga season.
Samu Chukwueze has recorded some spectacular numbers in the domestic competition. In total, the Yellows No.11 has played a total of 2348 minutes in 37 matches. Samu, who has started 27 of them, only missed the match against FC Barcelona in the first leg at the Spotify Camp Nou (3-0).
Chukwueze has handed out five assists and scored six goals, some of them of great importance, such as the spectacular brace he scored at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium on 8th April.
