The Argentine goalkeeper underlined that the team is focused on trying to qualify for the Round of 32 as winners of their Europa League group
Villarreal’s Argentine goalkeeper Gerónimo Rulli appeared in front of the media in a remote press conference to analyse the current good form of the Yellows, ahead of their game against Sivasspor in the UEFA Europa League at 6:55pm CET this Thursday: “We’re going into the game in good form. We’re going to Sivas with the aim of sealing the top spot. It will be a tough match, a very physical match, very different to the one we had at home. They will play with a very high intensity, as they are playing to stay alive in the competition. We will need to be at our best to win the match.”
The Yellows No.13 was positive about Villarreal’s work so far this season: “It’s been very positive. We still have a lot to improve on. There’s margin for improvement and despite that we’re getting good results. The manager demands a lot from us and helps each of us improve our individual level. We’re having a great start to the season, but we could still improve and continue growing and that’s what we want to do.”
