The Serbian right back believes in another win for the Yellows vs Osmanlispor (Thursday, 7pm CET)
Villarreal’s Serbian right back, Antonio Rukavina, was confident in the Submarine’s chances for their tie against Osmanlispor this Thursday (7pm CET) on the third UEFA Europa League Matchday in the Group stage. “We’re all good, even more so after the match on Sunday. It was one of the best matches so far this season. We’re confident and we’re going to Turkey to get the win. I think we’re a more quality side than them and we have to show that on the pitch. If we score the first goal, it will be much easier”, he commented.
Rukavina says they must be wary, despite their spectacular run of going 10 consecutive matches without losing, 8 in LaLiga and 2 in the UEFA Europa League: “Every match is a different story. It would be normal to think that if we can score five goals past Celta, we can do the same against Osmanlispor, but it doesn’t work like that. It will be difficult”.
The Yellow number 22 asserted that the Submarine are on the right track: “We’re going in the right direction, but the season is very long. The changing room’s not full of elation. We’re keeping a cool head. We’re not thinking about winning the league or anything like that. We’re thinking about taking it one step at a time and staying high up. Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid play in a league of their own. To start like this isn’t strange, those teams have a lot of quality and they always end up distancing themselves”.
