The Mallorcan forward signs for two seasons and will be a Yellow until June 2027
Villarreal CF have reached an agreement with Rocío García, who will wear the Yellow shirt for two seasons, until June 2027. The Mallorcan forward arrives on a free transfer from Atlético Baleares, where she played eight matches and scored one goal during the last campaign in Primera Federación.
An exciting return
Rocío García Fernández (Mallorca, 20/09/01) begins her second spell as a Yellow. She is an experienced forward with great quality, possessing a strong ability to move inside the opposition’s box and can also operate as an attacking midfielder.
At 23 years old, she already boasts two promotions in her career. The first came with UD Collerense to Reto Iberdrola in 2018/2019, and the second with FC Barcelona to Primera Federación in 2021/22.
Rocío García’s return to Villarreal Women is a statement signing: she strengthens the attack and combines talent with youth.
