The striker from Mallorca has joined Sara Monforte’s side
Villarreal CF have reached an agreement with forward Rocío García, who will be contracted to Villarreal Women until 2024. The footballer from Mallorca joins as a free agent, after spending last season with FC Barcelona B in their successful promotion to Primera RFEF.
Danger in the box for the Yellows
Rocío García Fernández (20/09/2001) is a young footballer with a hunger in front of goal. The footballer from Mallorca has a dangerous shot and links up well in attack. She previously played for UD Collerense, helping them reach Reto Iberdrola in the 2017/18 season.
The forward is the third signing for Villarreal Women ahead of their second division in the top flight of Spanish football, after Lucía Gómez and Fatou Kanteh. Villarreal’s squad is currently looking like this:
