Villarreal CF will get in touch with fans affected by the IT problem beyond the club’s control before the match against RC Celta
Due to an IT mishap beyond Villarreal CF’s control, in the first LALIGA EA Sports match of the season against Atlético de Madrid, around a thousand season ticket holders had problems when showing their digital season ticket at the Estadio de la Cerámica entrances.
In view of this situation, the club apologises to those affected by this incident and confirms that it will be in contact with them this week to rectify the problem for the next home game against RC Celta (Monday, 9.30pm CEST).
Similarly, and in order not to cause any harm to those affected, Villarreal CF will count all season ticket holders as having attended the match against Atlético de Madrid, in line with the attendance policy promoted and encouraged by the club.
