Important information for Yellows fans who are travelling to the match at Anfield

Villarreal CF would like to give the following information for fans who are travelling to the match against Liverpool tomorrow (27th April) at Anfield (9pm CEST), corresponding to the first leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-finals.

  • Los vuelos de aficionados, organizados por el club, saldrán mañana miércoles entre las 8.00 y las 9.30 horas desde los aeropuertos de Valencia y Castellón.
  • Flights for fans, organised by the club, will leave tomorrow between 8:00am and 9:30am from Valencia and Castellón airports.
  • Today, fans going with the organised trip will receive information with the flight they have been assigned to, the departure time and the airport it will leave from (Castellón or Valencia).
  • Fan who want to travel to the airport from Vila-real (included in the price of the trip) will need to get the coach three hours before the departure time of their flight. The coaches will leave from outside IES Broch I Llop in Vila-real. Find a map in a PDF attached to the article.
  • Fans who prefer to travel by themselves to the airport should arrive two hours before their assigned flight.
  • Fans are responsible for taking the documentation needed to go to the United Kingdom and then return to Spain.
  • The match tickets for the game against Liverpool FC will be handed to fans who are part of the official trip once they are on the plane.
  • There will be a ticket collection point at the Holiday Inn City Centre in Liverpool, from 10am to 3pm local time, for fans who have bought match tickets and need to collect them.
  • Fans will not be able to check in luggage. Only hand luggage is allowed.

United Kingdom entry requirements

  • Anyone wanting to enter the United Kingdom needs a valid passport (Spanish ID cards are not valid).
  • In the United Kingdom, all COVID-19 restrictions have been listed, so a PCR or antigen test will not be needed, neither will a valid COVID-19 passport.
  • Spaniard under the age of 18s who wish to travel abroad, without being accompanied by a legal guardian, will need signed permission from their legal guardians.

Spain entry requirements 

ALL passengers flying to Spain (except those under the age of 12), will need to have ONE of the following documents:

  1. A DIGITAL COVID CERTIFICATE FROM THE EU OR AN EU EQUIVALENT of vaccination against COVID-19 (third dosis or last does no longer than 270 days ago), or a negative certificate of diagnosis on the digital certificate, or a recovery certificate after passing COVID-19.
  2. QR SpTH.  You need to fill in the SpTH form via the following website: https://spth.gob.es, manually introducing your vaccination details, negative COVID test details or recovery details.

Under 12s do not have to show anything COVID-19 related to enter in Spain.
