Calleja’s side will take on Real Madrid in search of the grand Final of the Copa del Rey
This afternoon’s draw, held at the headquarters of the Spanish Football Federation (Real Federación Española de Fútbol), saw the Villarreal U19 A team paired with Real Madrid for the Semi-finals of the Copa del Rey. The first leg will be played this Saturday 11th June at 12pm on Pitch 5 of Valdebebas, while the second leg will be played the weekend of the 18th – 19th June at the Mini Estadi in the Villarreal CF Training Ground (Ciudad Deportiva).
The Villarreal U19s have made it to this round after beating Málaga CF and Real Sporting de Gijón, while Real Madrid have knocked out RCD Mallorca and RCD Espanyol. Real Madrid finished in third place in Group V of the U19s Honor Division (División de Honor Juvenil) with 68 points in 30 games (86 goals for and 23 goals against).
