Fran Escribá has chosen 23 players to play in the prestigious summer tournament
Villarreal CF Manager, Fran Escribá, has chosen his players to take to the prestigious Ramón de Carranza Trophy in Cádiz. The Submarine will face Málaga CF this Friday (10pm CEST, beIN Sports) and on Saturday a second match, be it the final or the third place match. It will be Villarreal CF’s third participation in the tournament after also having played in 2006 and 2008.
The 23 chosen players:
- Goalkeepers: Andrés and Barbosa.
- Defenders: Rukavina, Bonera, Semedo, Víctor Ruiz, Álvaro, Pau and Miguelón.
- Midfielders: Trigueros, Rodrigo, Fornals, Soriano, Samu Castillejo, Leo Suárez, N’Diaye, Chuca, Ramiro and Raba.
- Strikers: Sansone, Enes Ünal, Bakambu and Darío Poveda.

Travel plan
The Yellows expedition will set off this afternoon on a charter flight at 6:30pm from Castellón Airport to Jerez Airport. Once there, the team will stay at the Hotel Barceló Montecastillo Golf. The return journey will commence straight after the tournament has finished on Saturday.
