Jordi Ferriols’ side to play seven preparation friendlies
Villarreal Women have outlined their return to training. The players, who will once again be led by Jordi Ferriols, will undergo medical tests on 16th, 17th and 18th July. The first session on the pitch is scheduled for Monday 21st July (time to be confirmed).
The team, who will once again compete in Primera Federación Femenina, will play seven pre-season friendlies. The confirmed fixtures are as follows:
• Sunday 10th August: RCD Espanyol v Villarreal Women in Barcelona (kick-off time to be confirmed)
• Thursday 14th August: Alhama CF v Villarreal Women in Murcia (kick-off time to be confirmed)
• Saturday 16th August: Chelsea FC U20 v Villarreal Women in Albir (kick-off time to be confirmed)
• Wednesday 20th August: Villarreal Women v Elche CF at the José Manuel Llaneza Training Ground (kick-off time to be confirmed)
• Sunday 24th August: CE Europa v Villarreal Women in Barcelona (kick-off time to be confirmed)
• Wednesday 27th August: Villarreal Women v CD Castellón at the José Manuel Llaneza Training Ground (kick-off time to be confirmed)
• Sunday 31st August: Valencia Femenino v Villarreal Women at the Antonio Puchades Stadium (kick-off time to be confirmed)
