Próxima B will perform in the Estadio de la Cerámica Fan Zone in the build-up to the match against the Catalan side
Villarreal CF has prepared a series of activities for the preview of the match against RCD Espanyol, which will be played on Monday 3rd March, at 9pm CET, at the Estadio de la Cerámica.
The pre-match festivities will kick off at 7pm CET in the square adjacent to the Fondo Sur with the start of the Fan Zone, which will feature a new day of the 3v3 Groguet Tournament, the Play Zone, a craft workshop, face painting and an inflatable goal.
At 7:30pm, the live music will begin with a new performance in the Groc Talent competition. Próxima B, a band characterised by a classic pop rock style with funk influences, will set the rhythm in the Fan Zone.
While Proxima B will be playing in the Fan Zone, at 8pm, at the headquarters of the Agrupació de Penyes del Villarreal CF (Villarreal CF Supporters’ Association), the José Manuel Llaneza awards will be handed out, in honour of the former vice-president of Villarreal CF, which are awarded by the supporters to certain personalities and groups in recognition of their collaboration with the APV.
In the run-up to the match, already on the pitch of the Estadio de la Cerámica, the light show will be accompanied by the rhythm of the Associació Cultural El Trull, with dulzainas and dolçaina and tabors.
Before kick-off, in a iunique initiative, the Villarreal CF captains will take to the pitch accompanied by two dogs, Siri and Pinpin, with the aim of encouraging the adoption of abandoned dogs and raising awareness of the work of the AUPA (Adopta Un Perro Abandonado – Adopt an Abandoned Dog), with which the club has a collaboration agreement as part of the Endavant programme.
The featured dog this week as part of the ‘Canine Art’ campaign is Swatch, a friendly and cheerful medium-sized podenco mongrel, nine years old, who is looking for a family to take him in and a new home to live in.
The charity stand for Villarreal vs Espanyol will be for the benefit of ‘Sofía, la princesa guerrera de Castellón’, who suffers from a rare disease called tuberous sclerosis.
Last but not least, the Matchday Deal is on the player sweatshirt, which on match day will be reduced by 25% in the Official Stores and in the Online Shop. It will be available for only €37.50.
