The Spanish national team has named Pau Navarro in its squad for the U-20 World Cup. The defender from La Vilavella is one of the 21 players selected to represent La Roja at the tournament, which will take place in Chile from September 27 to October 19.
Spain will make its debut against Morocco on September 28 (10:00 p.m.) at the Estadio Nacional in Santiago de Chile. In the same venue, the team will then face Mexico on October 1 (10:00 p.m.) and Brazil on Friday, October 4 (10:00 p.m.) in the group stage.
This will be Spain’s first appearance at an U-20 World Cup in 12 years. The national team has lifted the U-20 World Cup trophy only once, in 1999.
