The Catalan centre-back will stay with Villarreal Women
Villarreal CF and Paolo Soldevila de la Pisa (07/12/1996, Porrera, Tarragona) have reached an agreement for the renewal of the Catalan centre-back’s contract, which will run for next season. Soldevila will stay tied to Villarreal CF until 30th June 2023.
The Catalan player joined Villarreal Women this season, standing out for her versatility thanks to her ability to play in defence and as a midfielder, where she gives balance to the Yellows in the middle of the pitch. In Villarreal Women’s first season in the top flight of Spanish football, Soldevila has been the player who was used most by Sara Monforte. She played all 30 league games, starting 28 of them, playing a total of 2,546 minutes.
The Catalan defender is the tenth Villarreal Women player to confirm their place at the club for the 2022/23 player, joining Tere Morató, Sheila Guijarro, Lara Mata, Irene Miguélez, Vera Rico, Elena de Toro, Belén Martínez, Yenifer Giménez and María Cienfuegos.
