Villarreal CF unveils the new official kits for the 2020/21 season
Villarreal CF has officially presented the new kits for the 2020/21 season. Sports brand JOMA, the Yellows’ technical sponsor, has designed the three kits, which the team will wear when they once more compete in the top flight of Spanish football. The official JOMA collection for the 2020/21 season will be available from Thursday 16th July in the official club shops and also on the online store.
Villarreal men’s first-team players Gerard Moreno, Pau Torres and Alberto Moreno, alongside women’s first-team players Salma Paralluelo and Cristina Díaz acted as models to present the kit the Yellow Submarine will wear next season. The home kit will be completely yellow, the second will be navy blue, with yellow trim, while the third kit combines claret with turquoise.
Technical characteristics
Joma have created a shirt that maintains Villarreal CF’s identity, using exclusively yellow in the first kit. A new colour for the Yellows can be seen in the third kit, which combines claret and turquoise. The jacquard polyester pattern gives a touch of difference to the collection, as well as the double necks and sleeves.
The kits are made with polyester, which is known for its quality and elasticity, as well as having a lot of resistance and being easy to maintain. This material breathes excellently, thanks to the DRY MX finish, which creates a latest-generation fabric capable of maintaining the athlete’s body temperature. Thanks to this technology, the body can stay dry and comfortable, keeping the player warm after exercise.
In area prone to sweating, where the player needs more breathing space, MICRO-MESH material has been used, which is technology which helps sweat evaporate to allow the athlete to perspire. It helps keep the body dry and increase the feeling of comfort.
