Villarreal CF presents the new official kits for the 2018/19 season
One kit, one feeling. Villarreal CF presents the new official kits for the 2018/19 season with a photo shoot that took place at the Mini Estadi in the Villarreal CF Training Ground (Ciudad Deportiva). The stars of the shoot were the first team’s brand new signing, striker Gerard Moreno, Villarreal ladies first team player, Aixa Salvador, and ‘EDI’ (intellectually disabled team) player, Juan Ramón Lara. The new kits will go on sale this Monday 18th June at the Official Shop in the Plaza Mayor, the Official Shop at the Estadio de la Cerámica and the Online Shop.
Joma, Villarreal CF’s technical sponsor, has designed three kits for Javi Calleja’s side to wear in the LaLiga, UEFA Europa League and Copa del Rey competitions, as well as in friendly matches. Lines inspired by the Estadio de la Cerámica on the yellow shirt
Joma has created a shirt that stays true to Villarreal CF’s identity using the colour yellow as the main element. An embossed technique has been used on the fabric to create lines that represent the design of the Estadio de la Cerámica. The neck is the newest feature, as it is now a round neck with a navy blue piece of folded fabric, without seams, and a navy blue area on the back. The result is a very elegant shirt.
Several details have been added that make the new Villarreal CF shirt an excellent quality fit, as there is a piece of material on the shoulder to improve its comfort and antitear seams in the neck to increase its durability.
The second kit maintains the same technical characteristics as the first one: perspiration with Mesh fabric on the sides and underarms, comfort, adjustment and humidity control.
