Villarreal CF and Crystal Palace reach transfer agreement for the winger
Villarreal CF and Crystal Palace have reached an agreement for the transfer of Yeremy Pino, who will join the English side ahead of the 2025/26 season.
With his move to English football, the winger brings to a close his long and successful spell at Villarreal CF, where he developed as a player before breaking into the first team. He won the UEFA Europa League in his debut campaign as a professional (2021) and played a crucial role in helping the Submarine reach the Champions League semi-finals (2022). Last season, he was also a key figure in securing Villarreal’s return to Europe’s top competition.
Yeremy Pino’s story with Villarreal CF began in the summer of 2017. The young forward arrived to join the U16s (Cadete A) side and pursue his dream of becoming a professional footballer. Just three years later, in 2020, and before turning 18, he made his first-team debut, showcasing his talent and establishing himself as a key player. His impressive performances with the Submarine also earned him a place in the Spanish national team, with whom he won the UEFA Nations League in 2023.
Despite still being just 22 years old, the Spanish winger made a total of 170 official appearances for Villarreal CF, scoring 22 goals and providing 23 assists.
The club is grateful for his dedication, professionalism, and commitment throughout his long and successful journey as a Villarreal player. Above all, for the pride and passion with which he has always represented the Yellow Submarine. For all these reasons, the club wishes him the very best of luck in his new professional chapter.
This will always be your home, Yere.
