The Catalan defender parts ways with Villarreal CF after three seasons
Adrià Altimira has parted ways with Villarreal CF. The Catalan defender and the Yellow Submarine go their separate ways after three seasons together, during which he defended the colours of the club’s reserve side in Segunda División and also became part of the first-team squad.
Altimira leaves after having played a total of 22 official matches with Villarreal CF’s first team across the 2023/24 and 2025/26 seasons. Last season, he was loaned out to CD Leganés, who were competing in the Spanish top flight.
