The defender will stay with Villarreal Women for another year
Villarreal CF and Nerea Pérez Machado (11/01/1994, Benidorm, Alicante) have reached an agreement for the defender to represent the Yellows next season. Nerea will stay tied to Villarreal CF until 30th June 2023.
The right-back from Benidorm joined Villarreal Women this season, strengthening the Submarine’s backline. She also can join the attack, to cause problems for the opposition. Nerea, in her debut season for Villarreal Women, played a total of 26 games in Primera Iberdrola, starting 24 of them.
The defender has become the 11th player from Villarreal Women to confirm her place in the squad for the 2022/23 season, alongside Tere Morató, Sheila Guijarro, Lara Mata, Irene Miguélez, Vera Rico, Elena de Toro, Belén Martínez, Yenifer Giménez, María Cienfuegos and Paola Soldevila.
