Ten players end their spell with Villarreal Women
Villarreal Women would like to express their gratitude for the professionalism, dedication and commitment of the ten players who are concluding their time at the club.
Carmen Carbonell, Lena Pérez, Vicky Benítez, Elena Gil, Paula Guerrero, Rita Almeida, Nerea Vicente, Laura Riquelme, Maria Ferreira and Marianela Szymanowski will not continue with the team from the 2025/26 season onwards.
The club wishes all of them the very best of luck in their future professional endeavours.
A special farewell to Carmen Carbonell
Carmen Carbonell (Valencia, 28/07/1999) spent five seasons with Villarreal Women. The Valencian goalkeeper was part of the team that earned promotion to the top flight, making a total of 44 appearances there.
