

The manager will be at the helm of the Yellows reserves for the next two seasons
Villarreal CF and Miguel Álvarez have reached an agreement that will see the manager stay at the Villarreal B helm for the next two seasons. The experienced coach arrived at the Yellows reserves two seasons ago, and in those two seasons, he has been able to guide the team to the promotion play-offs.
Miguel Álvarez Jurado (Guarromán, Jaén, 22nd March 1958) has been with the following clubs throughout his career Premià U19s, UD Cerdanyola Mataró, Guíxols FC, Horta FC, Vilassar de Mar, CE Mataró, CF Ciudad de Murcia, Terrassa, Lorca Deportiva CF, CF Badalona, CE L’Hospitalet, CD Leganés, AD Alcorcón, UE Sant Andreu, CE Sabadell and Marbella FC.
At 61, the coach from Jaén has a long history in Segunda B, where he has also been head coach of Terrassa (four seasons), Lorca Deportiva, Badalona, L’Hospitalet (two seasons), Leganés, Sant Andreu and Marbella. He was promoted with Terrassa in 2001/02 to the second tier, and reached the playoffs with L’Hospitalet in 2012/13.
