Both the Côte d’Ivoire and Spain internationals have muscular issues
Following the latest tests, Villarreal’s medical staff can confirm the following:
Nicolas Pepe has a muscle tear with damage to the rectus femoris of the left leg, which occurred during the match against Deportivo Alavés, corresponding to matchday 13 of the 2024/25 LALIGA EA Sports season.
Ayoze Pérez has suffered an injury to the posterior fascia of the rectus femoris in his right leg, which occurred during his time with the Spanish national team.
The recovery time depends on the evolution of both footballers.
